Alexander Schuster was a young independent carpenter ( he has quit his business already) who had been creating exclusive wooden furniture. He asked me to create a visual language for his business. The logo plays with an optical illusion based on the letters H and D - together they form an impossible object. The shadows in the logo are reminiscent of wood shavings, which are also used as styling elements for the brand.
